Background

Spanaway Park spans 135 acres and offers year-round fun with scenic waterfront views with two swim beaches, a boat launch, and a fishing pier. The pier had reached its end-of-life and was damaged by watercraft in 2021. A subsequent structural analysis determined that the pier and support pilings should be replaced. Preliminary design work is complete and permits are in process.
