Description

This contract was not competed and was not awarded as FFP. The contract was awarded sole source based on FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A): Substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B): Unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. The contract was awarded as CPIF to allow for some risk for some unknowns with the requirement but incentivize cost and performance. The redacted J&A is attached to this notice.
