Southwick Road Multi Modal Improvements

Sealed Bids for the construction of the “City of Westfield, Southwick Road Multi-Modal Improvements” will be received by the Office of Procurement, 59 Court Street, Westfield, MA 01085 until 2:00 p.m. local time on March 26, 2026 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Sealed Bids must have outer envelope marked as “City of Westfield, Southwick Road Multi-Modal Improvements.”

The work consists of a base bid and alternative, from the bid documents Base Bid – Southwick Road Improvements installing a bump out with RRFBs, cement concrete sidewalks and pedestrian curb ramps, granite curbing, drainage improvements, associated lawn repairs, and restriping of the roadway to include buffered bike lanes. Alternate 1 – Crane Avenue and Mill Street Improvements consists of full depth reconstruction on Crane Avenue and mill & overlay of Mill Street and Crane Avenue intersection, cement concrete sidewalks and pedestrian curb ramps, granite curbing, drainage improvements, and associated lawn repairs. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form.

All Bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended.
