The City of St. Petersburg, Florida (“City”) is seeking the services of a qualified Architectural/Engineering (“A/E”) firm to provide Architect-Engineer (A/E) services for Southwest Water Reclamation Facility Digester 3 and Waste Activated Sludge Holding Tank, located at 3800 54 th Avenue South, Saint Petersburg, FL.
The City of Saint Petersburg’s Water Master Plan has identified the need to increase biosolids handling capacity and operational redundancy at the Southwest Water Reclamation Facility (SWWRF.) Recommendations from the Master Plan and the facility’s Repair and Rehabilitation Model identify the need for a third dual-use digester, for meso- and thermophilic operation, a new holding tank for waste activated sludge (WAS,) and the addition of a new water supply loop from the process heat exchangers to the thickening units.
