PHASE 2 EXPANSION
CONTRACT NO. 75
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that sealed proposals for the above referenced contracts
will be received by the Commissioner of the Erie County Department of Environment and
Planning (ECDEP) on November 5, 2026 until 2:00 pm, local time, at 95 Franklin Street, Room
1034, Buffalo, New York, 14202, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in
Room 1004.
The Project includes construction of two new biological oxygen UNOX reactors, UNOX
reactor aerated influent channel, four new clarifiers with integrated flow distribution structure,
new return activated sludge (RAS) pump station, and tunnel extension, and improvements to the
existing influent pump stations, four existing UNOX reactors, and electrical facilities, including
process/mechanical systems, demolition, abatement of asbestos and lead-based paint, concrete,
masonry, metals, thermal and moisture protection, doors and windows, painting, plumbing,
heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, electrical, security, civil, utility, instrumentation and
controls, and appurtenant Work.
Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-bid meeting scheduled for October 1,
2026 at 10:00 am local time at the Southtowns AWTF, S-3690 Lake Shore Road, Buffalo, NY
14219.
