Notice is hereby given that bids for the construction of Southside Intersection Improvements – I-49 Southbound at Don Tyson Pkwy. will be received by the City of Springdale, Arkansas (the Owner) until 2:00 p.m., local time, Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be received and then publicly opened and announced at the following location:

Project Name: Southside Intersection Improvements Site 4 – I-49 Southbound at Don Tyson Pkwy.

The Contract provides for the construction of improvements to the intersection of Don Tyson Parkway and I-49 Southbound interchange, Springdale, Arkansas. The construction will include the installation of traffic signals and cabinet, as well as striping modifications to the southbound off-ramp and restriping of existing lanes along Don Tyson near the intersection.

All contractors intending to bid SHALL register as a plan holder by notifying Ryan Carr via e-mail as shown above. When registering as a plan holder, contractors shall submit primary contact information including name of contractor, primary contact, phone number, fax number, and physical address. FAILURE TO REGISTER AS A PLAN HOLDER CAN RESULT IN YOUR BID BEING REJECTED. Interested parties are responsible for printing. Registering and obtaining documents via QuestCDN as described above automatically registers you as a plan holder.
Questions will be received until 5:00 pm Thursday, February 20, 2025. After time for questions has closed, all questions received will be responded to via an addendum to all plan holders.
The City of Springdale hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws and other federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Acts of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil rights Acto of 1964 also apply.
The City of Springdale complies with all civil rights provisions of federal statues and related authorities that prohibit discrimination in programs and activites receiving federal financial assistance. Therefore, the City of Springdale does not discriminate on the basis of rece, sex, color, age, national origin, religion or disability, in the admission, access to and treatment in the City of Springdale programs and activites, as well as the City of Springdale hiring or employment practices. Complants of alleged discriminatin and inquiries regarding the City of Springdale nondiscriminaion policies may be directed to the City of Springdale.
The City of Springdale reserves the right to accept any bid or bid alternate, to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities in bid received where such acceptance, rejections, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the City of Springdale. All Bidders shall agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the Owner for any damage or claim brought by any Bidder because of such rejections, nor shall the Bidders seek any recourse of any kind against the Owner because of such rejections. The filing of any Bid in response to this invitation shall constitute an agreement of the Bidder to these conditions.
