SAIT is inviting experienced and qualified Proponents of Elevator Modernization Services solutions to respond to this RFP for SAIT’s 240053 Elevator Modernization Project.
The intent is to select the appropriate Proponent(s) and solution as follows:
The approach will be to focus on selecting a Proponent to focus on design, procurement and ordering of equipment in preparation to modernize 8 elevators in construction for FY 2025. The 8 elevators in scope are a priority list. The Proponent shall incorporate existing outstanding list of AEDARSA directives across campus to resolve ongoing escalators concerns to bring up to code and ensure working order in conjunction with this plan.
In its current state, SAIT has 16 buildings servicing 97 floors through 54 elevators and 18 escalators to support 20K+ students and staff.
Construct and modernize a priority list of 8 elevators on campus in Stan Grad, East Hall, and Begin Tower for 2024/2025.
