South Park Ave. (US Route 62) Highway-Rail Grade Crossing Warning System Project, MP 11.11 (USDOT Crossing Inventory #265582P)

The Contract is to provide all the necessary services, material, equipment, labor and superintendents necessary to perform work in accordance with the standards of the New York State Department of Transportation, the Federal Railroad Administration, the Buffalo Southern Railroad, the American Railway Engineering & Maintenance of Way Association (AREMA), the County of Erie, the Erie County IDA and the contract documents.

The Contractor will furnish and install a grade crossing warning device system at the Railroad’s South Park Ave (US Route 62) grade crossing (USDOT Inventory #265582P) inclusive of signal enclosure, approach track circuitry, and flashing light signal & gate assemblies.

All work shall be performed in accordance with the documents and specifications provided and referenced herewith.

There will be a pre-bid meeting on February 19, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. Interested parties should meet at the South Park Ave (US Route 62) Grade Crossing, USDOT Inventory #265582P, Town of Hamburg, Erie County, New York. While attendance is not required to submit a bid proposal, this will be the only opportunity for those interested to visit the project site. Attendees are required to bring their own PPE. Those without PPE will not be allowed access to view and inspect the project site.
