Description: The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation intends to purchase 2-Ton Class (STA-POD™) NYSDOT Item No. 620.20000017 which should be produced to NYSDOT materials, specifications, and testing/inspection requirements. These units are large, interlocking energy dissipaters which have proven to provide lasting streambank stabilization, while also providing physical complexity, superior habitat characteristics when compared with other lasting armoring options. pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority under State Finance Law §163(6).
