South Leschi Marina Wave Attenuator and Public Access Facility

Project Description: This Project is a Covered Project subject to the City of
Seattle’s Community Workforce Agreement (CWA) and Priority Hire SMC 20.37. With
the support of the mayor and City Council, the City of Seattle administers programs that
support racial and economic equity through contracting. Priority Hire is one of these
programs. Priority Hire provides people living in economically distressed communities,
women, and people of color access to work on the city’s construction projects. It gives
contractors access to these skilled workers.
This project will construct a transient boat moorage and wave attenuator facility at South
Leschi Marina. SOW will include demolition of existing timber pier, gangway, and float;
furnish and installation of steel piling; utility infrastructure; fabrication and installation of
gangway and floating structures. Additive 1&2: Furnishing and installation of
breakwater float # 1 &2, Furnish and Install piling and utility infrastructure.

Engineer's Estimate: $4,999,585 Additive #1: $370,000 Additive #2: $364,000
