Notes	This ITB is being issued to secure a General Contractor to purchase and install the materials, supplies, associated pipe and any other required fittings, values, and other miscellaneous appurtenances. The Contractor will also furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to perform all work required to construct complete in place, and ready to operate: 1. 7,704 linear feet of 8-inch diameter PVC water main on Mentor Road from Louisville Road to Spruce Hill Road and 2,456 linear feet of 8-inch diameter water main on Samples Road from Topside Road to Mentor Road including all associated pipe, fittings, valves, and other miscellaneous appurtenances. 2. Contractor will supply 80 water meters, materials only, to the Owner. The Owner will provide labor for installation of water meters. (See the Project Manual in the "Attachments" tab for details. All Bidders must be licensed contractors with the State of Tennessee as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1994 and related amendments thereto, with all bid submittals conforming with the State of Tennessee requirements. The bid download is located under the “Bid Documents” header at the blue “Bid Invitation” link, for Bidders who choose to submit a manual bid. This document will include blue "Download" links to all bid attachments. All required attachments must be completed and submitted, all response requirements must be included in the manual bid, and all attributes, and bid forms/line items must be completed . Please contact our office if you are unable to locate the Bid Invitation download. Bidders are still advised to register in our system in order to receive Addenda and Q&A. The Bid Invitation and all Bid Attachments may be obtained through Blount County's online bidding system at https://blounttn.ionwave.net/login.aspx . If not currently registered with Blount County, vendors are encouraged to register under the Supplier Registration tab and submit their response through the online bidding system at this same link. Manual (hard copy) bid responses are also acceptable. If submitting a hard copy bid response, it shall be submitted at the Blount County Courthouse, Purchasing Department, Room 319, 385 Court St., Maryville, TN 37804 in a sealed envelope with the Bid Cover attached to the outside. Bid responses, whether electronic or manual (hard copy) submissions, must contain all required information and documentation including, but not limited to , Response Attachments, Bid Attributes, and Bid Lines and be submitted no later than the Response Deadline . Bid responses are not accepted via email or facsimile . If submitting electronically, the system does not allow entries beyond the Response Deadline Date/Time. It is important that Bidders allow ample time to key and submit their response. Prior to bid submission, it is the bidder's responsibility to access the Blount County IonWave online bidding system and ascertain they have received any addenda and viewed answers to published questions and bid accordingly.
