1. Purpose
THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.
The 673d Contracting Squadron (673 CONS), Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska, is conducting market research to identify potential sources that can provide comprehensive mortuary services under a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).
This Sources Sought is pursuant to FAR Part 10 in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force to determine if this effort can be competitive and to determine the appropriate set-aside (if any). This is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research. No funds are available to fund the information solicited.
2. Program Information
The Government has a need for professional mortuary services, which includes the recovery, transportation, and preparation of remains, as well as providing authorized caskets, urns, and required permits within the JBER, Alaska area of responsibility. Additional information on what the government's needs are can be found in Attachment 1, Performance Work Statement.
3. Required Information
The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 812210 (Funeral Homes and Funeral Services), which has a corresponding Size Standard of $16.5M.
