FOR

36 LRS Compact Track Loader Attachment Racking System

Brand Name or Equal: Bucket Bunker

THIS IS A MARKET RESEARCH/SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE SEEKING INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY SEEKING RESPONSES IN ORDER TO DETERMINE PARTICIPATION IN THIS ACQUISITION. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION/REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THIS SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION OR ULTIMATELY AWARD A CONTRACT, NOR DOES IT RESTRICT THE GOVERNMENT TO A PARTICULAR ACQUISITION APPROACH OR OTHERWISE REIMBURSE RESPONDENTS FOR ANY COSTS INCURRED IN PREPARATION OF A RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE.

The Contractor will provide heavy-duty, transportable racking systems to organize, protect, and rapidly deploy Compact Track Loader (CTL) attachments. as specified in Salient Characteristics, to include direct delivery to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.

Salient Characteristics:

1. Model Equivalency - Must provide two functional variations equivalent to the manufacturers baseline models:

  • "Bucket Bunker® Demo PRO™" Equivalent: Must have dedicated internal and external storage space designed to securely hold a loader bucket, a set of pallet forks, a top-mounted grapple/large attachment, and an internal tool (e.g., hydraulic breaker or tree puller) simultaneously.

  • "Bucket Bunker® Grapple PRO™" Equivalent: Must have dedicated storage designed specifically to accommodate bulky hydraulic grapple attachments on a top shelf, alongside loader buckets, pallet forks, and multiple hydraulic/demolition tools.

2. Storage Capacity

  • Each individual racking unit must be capable of securing and storing four (4) to five (5) distinct CTL attachments simultaneously.

3. Caterpillar & Universal Compatibility

  • Mounting brackets and slots must be fully compatible with standard Caterpillar (Cat) CTL attachments and standard SAE J2513 Universal Quick Attach interface plates.

  • Racks must feature dedicated clearance and securement pathways to safely route and protect Caterpillar-style hydraulic hoses and multi-pin electrical harness connectors.

4. Transportability & MHE Interface

  • Units must be designed to be moved safely while fully loaded with heavy attachments. Racks must feature integrated forklift pockets (allowing pallet fork entry from all four sides) and engineered overhead lifting points/D-rings for crane/hoist rigging.

5. Structural Material

  • The structural frame must be constructed of heavy-gauge, high-tensile USA steel (or commercial equivalent) capable of supporting heavy-duty industrial attachment payloads (minimum rack weight of approximately 800–850 lbs unladen) without warping, bending, or failing.

6. Environmental Durability

  • Racks must feature a corrosion-resistant, all-weather industrial finish (e.g., hot-dip galvanized steel or heavy-duty powder coating) to withstand long-term WRM prepositioning in austere, high-humidity, or coastal environments.

7. Securement Mechanisms

  • Racks must feature integrated securement methods, including built-in D-rings, hook pockets, safety chains, and binder latching racks, to prevent attachments from shifting during rapid deployment and transit.

The anticipated NAICS Code is 336390, Other Motor Vehicle Parts Manufacturing.
