DESCRIPTION: This is a sources sought announcement. This announcement is in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a competitive acquisition and to identify potential sources that can provide the overhaul of the following item:
NOMENCLATURE: POWER TURBINE MODULE

OUTPUT NSN: 2840-01-692-2620
OUTPUT P/N: 6071T26G05
ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 25 each – Maximum 390 each (Maximum includes a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 65 each)
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336412 and the size standard is 1,500 employees. Interested parties who have the capability to perform the above effort should respond to this notice and identify your business size and socio-economic status as applicable. All submissions must include full company names, Point of Contacts (POCs) to include name, position, office and mobile telephone numbers, and email address.
The Power Turbine Module is a Critical Safety Item (CSI). Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 1-2840-248-1/-2/-3/-4 revision date 9/30/2014, is adequate to support the overhaul of the Power Turbine Module. However, because this item is a Critical Safety Item (CSI) overhaul can only be performed by the approved sources. Currently, the only known approved sources for the overhaul of the Power Turbine Module are GE Engine Services Inc., CAGE Code 062W2, Large Business; Bet Shemesh Engines LTD., CAGE Code 1855A, Large Business; GE Engine Services LLC, CAGE Code 24113, Large Business; Standard Aero Limited, CAGE Code L0K02, Large Business.
The Army intends to solicit this as a limited competitive requirement to GE Engine Services Inc., Bet Shemesh Engines LTD., GE Engine Services LLC, and Standard Aero Limited.
All data received in response to this Sources Sought that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from any release outside the Government. Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Requests (SAR) in order to become an approved source need to consult the guidance on the following website:
