Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD), Orlando, FL intends to sole source the effort to upgrade the existing Amphibious Boat Control Team Trainer (ABCTT) systems with Self-Defense System Simulator (SDSSIM) training capability to Buffalo Computer Graphics, Inc. (BCG) (CAGE code 0AK34) of Buffalo, NY under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. BCG is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) that previously delivered ABCTT and is the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical expertise to provide this ABCTT upgrade, since BCG is the original designer, developer, and manufacturer of the ABCTT. The Government does not have and cannot provide data rights to any software components that would be necessary to perform this upgrade. In order to comply with PGI 206.302-1, the Government is seeking information on the availability of potential comparable sources to upgrade the existing ABCTT training systems capability.
