Spangdahlem Air Base has a requirement for the following items:



Emergency/Alternate Radio System: The air traffic control emergency/alternate radio system must:

• Transmit and receive on very high frequency (VHF) and ultra high frequency (UHF) ranges

• Rechargeable batteries with charging station

• Desktop and portable capability

• Beyond line-of-sight capabilities (10-100 mile range)
