Place of Performance:
This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. The Government is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued.
The United States Air Force (USAF) AEWS Program Management Office is conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to perform a comprehensive structural analysis on the radar towers supporting the AN/FPS-117 radar system. This analysis is required to support the planned installation of new, modern radomes. The purpose of this RFI is to gain a better understanding of industry capabilities, inform the acquisition strategy, and refine the requirements for a potential future solicitation. The Government is seeking feedback on the technical approach, potential contracting structures, and logistical challenges associated with this effort. For full details, see Attachment 1_AEWS Tower Surveillance.
Responses are due by 2:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) 15 September 2025.
