1. Project Summary and Scope of Work: The Carroll County Office of Procurement, in cooperation with the Division of Utilities, is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide the labor, material, equipment, and services necessary to construct the Liberty Water Tank Booster Station, located at 1331 Johnsville Road, Eldersburg MD 21784. The scope of work includes the following: A. Construction of a new Water Booster Station and associated site work, located primarily within the base of the existing Liberty Water Storage Tank. B. Installation of approximately 2,400 linear feet (LF) of new 12-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) suction line along Johnsville Road from the Liberty Water Tank Booster Station to the existing water main at the intersection with Bartholow Road. 1. Statement of Qualifications Requirements: A Statement of Qualifications is required to ensure that all construction firms bidding on this project possess the necessary qualifications, experience, and capabilities to successfully complete this project. The Statement of Qualifications submittal shall include the information listed below. Any requested portion of information not included in the Statement of Qualifications submittal will result in the firm being designated as non-responsive and the firm will then be eliminated from the bid process. 1) A company profile including company background, number of years in business, location, size of firm, and a brief summary of major equipment owned. 2) A summary, including years of experience, of the Contractor’s key office staff and on-site construction foreman who will be assigned to this project. 3) A project listing and reference contact information for a minimum of three major water and/or wastewater projects similar in size and complexity to that of this project and successfully completed by the firm within the past five years. 4) A copy of Maryland Certificate of Good Standing. 5) A copy of Maryland Contractor’s Business License.
