Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are be requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The 766 Enterprise Sourcing Squadron on Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam hereby submits an intent to award a sole source contract. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-priced contract to Motorola Solutions utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.501. This synopsis has been tailored to comply with the requirements of FAR 5.101(a)(1) and FAR 13.105(a). Interested parties may submit capability statements in response to this notice. The Government’s decision not to compete the requirement is final and based solely on these responses. This Performance Work Statement (PWS) defines the requirements for migrating the KPSFS Indo-Pacific Partners (IP2) Land Mobile Radio (LMR) backhaul network from T1 to Ethernet, ensuring compliance with the Department of Defense and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) mandate for serial obsolesce.
