SOOKE RD WATER MAIN UPGRADE - CHURCH RD TO PHILLIPS RD
CONTRACT 2024-991
INVITATION TO TENDER
Sealed Tenders, plainly marked on the envelope "TENDER FOR 2024-991 SOOKE RD WATER MAIN UPGRADE - CHURCH RD TO PHILLIPS RD " will be received by Shari McCreesh. Purchaser, Integrated Water Services of the Capital Regional District at their offices at 479 Island Highway, Victoria, British Columbia up to 2:00:00 pm) local time on December 10, 2024 , at which time they will be opened in private.
The works to be constructed under this Contract generally include, but are not limited to, the following:
Construction of approximately 1,100m of 500mm diameter restrained Ductile Iron (DI) pipe including fittings, valves and appurtenances to replace an existing 350mm diameter asbestos cement water mains. The existing AC water mains will be abandoned, and all service connections including fire hydrants and side street water mains will be connected to the new main. The majority of the alignment of the Project runs along Sooke Road from Church Rd to Phillips Rd, located within the District of Sooke
Proponents may be awarded follow-on work without a competition.
Digital copies may be downloaded for no cost from www.crd.bc.ca /about/contracts-rfps/ after registering as a vendor and at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca without registration. Vendors are encouraged to check BC Bid regularly for updates and not rely on e-mail notifications, as e-mail is inherently unreliable and subject to interruptions.
The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
A non-mandatory pre-tender information meeting will be held at the offices of CRD Integrated Water Services located at 479 Island Highway, Victoria, BC at 10:30 am on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, in the Goldstream Room. Please note that information discussed during this meeting will not be binding. Any binding information will be provided in an addendum issued after the meeting.
Tenderers are recommended to visit the site to ensure that they have satisfied themselves of everything and of every condition that could affect the execution of the work. Tenderers are encouraged to make enquiries to satisfy themselves of the work requirements.
