SOLUTION DE GESTION DES LOIRSIRS/RECREATION MANAGEMENT SOLUTION

The Athletics and Recreation Unit at McGill University (“McGill”), including (Downtown Campus and Macdonald Campus) services the athletic and recreation needs of McGill students, alumni, staff, and the surrounding community.

The Unit provides access to the McGill Sports Complex (including a pool, indoor and outdoor track, stadium, fields, gymnasium, and activity rooms) and fitness centre, offers courses (fitness, aquatics, sports and recreation), manages items for rent, sells locker rentals, rents spaces for special events and runs intramural sports leagues.
The current system was implemented in 2015. Due to the limitations on the supplier’s side, McGill had to develop a complex integration solution to give flexibility to manage custom member types. This solution can no longer be maintained without being re-designed.
The Athletics and Recreation Unit plans to implement a new recreation management solution to ensure continuity of its services, to meet compliance standards and to provide efficient and improved user experience for clients and administrative users.
