This is a Solicitation notice regarding a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Subsistence Fresh Bread and
Bakery contract intended for servicing customers located in the state of Colorado. Offers are due No Later Than 8PM
Eastern Standard Time, 21 April 2025.
Background: The Agency intends to issue an award and ultimately enter into a SIDC (Simplified Indefinite Delivery Contract) with a
commercial firm to supply Fresh Bread and Bakery products to military customers in the Colorado Zone.
1. This solicitation includes one group with customers listed in the Attachment 3 Delivery Schedule.
2. These include Fresh Bread and Bakery Products. The freshness requirement of the product being delivered may not be compromised.
3.The offeror’s distance from the delivery location is very important. The offeror must be capable of delivering
product to arrive at the delivery location the same day for emergency orders if necessary.
4. Commercial standards should be used to maintain temperatures appropriate for the individual items. Bakery products shall include mold inhibitors of the proper level as allowed by the FDA. When proposing in response to a solicitation, failure to propose
the specified quality requirement per item as identified above may render an offeror’s proposal technically
unacceptable. This will consist of DoD/Troop customers in the Colorado Zone. After soliciting, the Agency intends to
make one award. Offerors are required to propose on all items in the Schedule of Items on which it offers. Failure to
do so may result in a proposal being deemed technically unacceptable and therefore excluded from further
consideration for award. Because the Contracting Officer is not obligated to initiate negotiations, when proposing
to the solicitation each offeror shall submit its most competitive proposal. Said proposal shall be responsive to all of
the Solicitation’s requirements and free from any deficiencies. The period of performance for the resultant contract
is from May 11, 2025, to November 7, 2026. All responsible sources must submit proposals that will be considered by
DLA Troop Support. Copies of the solicitation will be found on the DLA-BSM Internet Bid Board System at
https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. If not already registered, prospective offerors will be required to do so prior to
viewing and downloading a copy of the solicitation. If you have any questions regarding this notice then please send
