The Navy Experimental Diving Unit Panama City Division (NEDU) has a requirement to procure multiple Glenair high-pressure fittings. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, FL (NSWC PCD) intends to award a sole source justified, firm fixed price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures to Glenair, Inc. This procurement is sole source due to the fittings being proprietary to Glenair, Inc. and not being offered through Glenair resellers. Other manufacturer’s fittings are not compatible with existing systems and the government would incur unacceptable costs and downtime to redesign and re-outfit the facilities.
