Sole Source # SS-25-011 Urban Transportation Upgraded APC Cloud Hosted Software

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) seeks to award a Sole Source contract to Urban Transportation Associates, Inc. (UTA) for an Automatic Passenger Counting (APC) Cloud Hosted Software that provides an APC reporting upgrade with support services for its existing UTA software package. This is an upgrade of the existing desktop version for Fixed Route services.

JTA is a licensed user of Urban Transportation Associates, Inc's Automatic Passenger Counter software package. The APC Reporting module embedded in UTA's APC Software package utilizes the IBM-SPSS stastical software package which has been formally licensed to JTA. UTA's APC software package is proprietary to the existing hardware installed on JTA Fixed Route Vehicles and hardware that is installed on new vehicles from the factory. UTA is the sole software provider of the hardware.
