Sole Source Intent - Corrosion Products, Inc. - Calibration and Testing of Teledyne Isco Flowmeters

THIS IS NOT A COMPETITIVE BID

The County of Ontario intends to recommend the issuance of a Sole Source award to Corrosion Products, Inc. for Calibration and testing of Teledyne Isco flowmeters. Any purchase order resulting from this proposed sole source will be made in accordance with the laws governing the purchasing processes of the County of Ontario. Any responses received as a result of this Notice of Intent shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Responses will not be considered as proposals, bids, or quotes.

The Purchasing Department has received a request to make the following sole-source procurement:

Requesting Department/Office: Department of Public Works

Product and/or services to be purchased: Calibration and testing of Teledyne Isco flowmeters.

Anticipated Cost: $7200

Sole Source Justification: Teledyne Isco states that Corrosion Products is the sole sales and distributor in New York State.

This testing and calibration is required by our current MCA with the City of Canandaigua for discharge of wastewater to the City of Canandaigua, as well as required by NYSDEC for Honeoye Lake Sewer District.
