Solar Power Generation And Energy Storage For Electric Utility

Project Description: The City invites prospective Respondents to submit proposals to provide utility-scale solar generation projects (2.2 MW to 74.9 MW) and battery energy storage systems (10 MW – 25 MW with 4-hour duration) to meet its interim clean energy goal of adding at least 120 MW of clean, renewable energy supply capacity to its electric grid by 2030.
The City is only seeking projects that are directly tied to and balanced within the City’s electric system in this solicitation.
Proposals initially shortlisted by the City may require a presentation by the Respondent during which the City may interview the Respondent, seek clarification on technical and cost/fee information, and explore Respondent’s ability to amend their proposed solution in terms of capacity, price, and ownership type.
