Description:

|
1. Overview
The City of Auburn is seeking qualified contractors to design, procure, and install photovoltaic (PV) solar systems at three separate City facilities. The project involves roof-mounted and carport-mounted solar arrays at the following locations:

Fire Station 2

City Hall
-
Police Station
All systems must be designed and installed in accordance with applicable codes, utility interconnection requirements, and industry best practices.
Design Flexibility and Cost Optimization
To support cost-effective implementation:
-
Bidders may propose reduced energy yield targets where necessary to accommodate site-specific constraints such as space or budget.

Final designs must balance cost, available footprint, and performance efficiency.

Proposals should include performance projections and justification for any reduced kWh/kWp values.

Attachment A includes the single-line drawings submitted to PG&E to meet the NEM 2.0 deadline. All proposals should ensure that any modifications to the design criteria do not require resubmission of these documents, as that would invalidate the original application.

Please treat all three sites as separate projects, as the City reserves the right to award any portion of the work one, none, or all three locations to the selected contractor.
