REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Sealed bids will be received, opened, and read aloud in public session for ON-SITE SOLAR PV SYSTEM SERVICES
for the CITY OF CENTER POINT, ALABAMA, at 10:00 AM
on December 16, 2024
, at the City Hall located at 2209 Center Point Parkway, Center Point, Alabama. The City is soliciting proposals from qualified solar PV providers to design, engineer, build, operate, and maintain a turn-key installation of two 60kW DC and one 32 kW DC rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) projects at City Hall (60 kW-DC) located 2209 Center Point Parkway, City Library (25 kW-DC) and City Community Center (60 kW-DC) both located at 533 Sunhill Road. Respondents shall have demonstrated experience designing, planning, scheduling, permitting and constructing complete solar PV systems, have knowledge of local utilities, provide project financial analysis and rebate support, and provide
system monitoring and maintenance
.
All proposers must attend a mandatory pre-bid site walk on December 3, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at the
City Hall located at 2209 Center Point Parkway, Center Point, Alabama.
Bids from proposers who do not attend this conference will be rejected.
Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the City of Center Point in an amount not less than 5% of the bid amount, but in no event more than $10,000. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds will be required from the winning proposer. The winning proposer will be required to obtain a business license from the City to operate within the Corporate Limits.
The Request for Proposals may be obtained from Center Point City Hall, 2209 Center Point Parkway, Center Point, Alabama, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., or downloaded from the City’s website at
www.thecityofcenterpoint.org.

Be advised that overnight delivery by express or courier to Center Point is not guaranteed. Faxed bids will not be
accepted.
The lowest responsive, responsible bid will be accepted with key consideration based upon best value and benefit to the public. The City of Center Point reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularity in the bids received, and to accept or reject any items of the bid for the benefit of the public. No conditional bids will be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of

days after the scheduled closing date and time for the receipt of bids.
