1 INTENDED PURPOSE AND APPLICATION / SCOPE OF WORK
The equipment will be used by the Agronomy Department for measuring and analyzing greenhouse gas
levels (CO2, N2O) in soil, especially in Iowa's representative agricultural system (corn, soybean, and
sorghum).

2 EVALUATION CRITERIA
The evaluation criteria utilized for this RFP may be based upon, but not limited to the following criteria:

Total Cost
Installation and training offered
Warranty/Customer Service
ISU reserves the right to waive minor differences in the stated specifications, if an offered system is found to be
substantially compliant, and its’ purchase would be in the University’s best interest.
Proposal Process and Ev aluation. The proposal process employed by ISU allows Suppliers latitude in responding
to the needs of ISU. The features and requirements stated Technical Specifications represent ISU’s best assessment
of technical requirements. Suppliers should communicate with ISU to ensure they understand the equipment
requirements of the university.
