Software and system administration support - Clinisys

The Department of Minnesota IT Services (MNIT), partnering with the Department of Health (MDH), intends to renew an agreement for up to 24 months with Clinisys (formerly Orchard) for continued, uninterrupted use of Orchard software and associated system administration support.

MDH Infectious Disease Laboratory (IDL) utilizes Clinisys Orchard Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) software and associated system administration support to manage laboratory workflows, track specimens, record testing results, support quality assurance processes, and maintain reliable laboratory operations for infectious disease testing. The State believes Clinisys Orchard software is proprietary to Clinysis and is not available for purchase or licensing through third-party entities. The associated system administration support is required to support the State’s continued use of the software. Therefore, the State has determined that this is a single source purchase.
