Software License, Maintenance, and Support – Housing Development Software

The Minnesota Housing Finance Agency (MHFA) intends to renew an agreement with Housing and Development Software LLC (HDS) for up to 12 months to provide licensing, maintenance and support for HDS’ mortgage software. This software is critical to MHFA’s business operations that involve mortgage purchases and securitization, mortgage servicing, reconciliation, and the financial reporting required by Minnesota Statute 462A, a key law governing the Housing Finance Agency.

This purchase is a single source because the software was developed specifically for MHFA by HDS, making the vendor the sole provider for licensing, maintenance and support. HDS is the only source for the tool: there are no third-party distributors that are authorized to provide maintenance and support.
