The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Seattle District has a requirement to construct a new consolidated rigging facility including parachute rigging facility consisting of drying tower, packing lanes, parachute repair room, supply rooms, storage areas, oxygen systems maintenance room, and a classroom, building information systems and sustainability and energy features Supporting facilities include all related site-work and utilities (electrical, water, gas, sanitary sewer, and information systems distribution), lighting, parking, curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm drainage, landscaping, roads, and other site improvements. Special construction includes sustainable construction features complying with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED ver 4) ?Silver?. Though LEED Silver will be met a follow up certification will not be pursued. Access for persons with disabilities will be provided. Comprehensive interior design and audio-visual services are included.
