These pumps will used to pump Sodium Bisulfite to dechlorinate / neutralize the final effluent. Current on site pumps are not pumping as designed and are over 10 years old. Without these pumps it would be difficult to pump sodium bisulfite to neutralized the residual chlorine from the disinfected treated water that will be discharge to the receiving stream and this will cause a TCEQ violation. Dechlorination is required as part of the treatment process by the state regulatory agency.
