Soda Blast Booth SYNOPSISThis announcement serves as a synopsis for informational purposes only. THIS IS NOT A RFQ.Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) intends to solicit for 1 Sodium Bicarbonate Blast Booth for building 474. The major component parts that the soda blast booth is utilized to clean include the V6 engine block, 1790 engine block, V6 damper housing, V6 flywheel housing, V6 engine block head and the V8 engine block head. Soda blasting is a form of abrasive blasting that uses Sodium Bicarbonate the abrasive media. The Contractor shall be responsible for delivery and complete installation of the Sodium Bicarbonate Blast Booth to include all labor and materials required. All in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). Delivery and installed at the Anniston Army Depot, 7 Frankford Avenue, Building 474 Anniston, Alabama, 36201.This will be a small business set aside procurement. North American Industry Classification System Code is 327910 and the associated size standard is 900 employees. A solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, and 5.102(a); therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. The estimated issue date is 06 January 2025. Proposals must be submitted electronically as stated in the solicitation. Vendors may download an electronic copy of the solicitation on or after the issue date at https://piee.eb.mil/. Hard copies will not be provided. Because the solicitation and any amendments will be issued electronically, the Government is under no obligation to maintain a bidder?s mailing list. It is incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address to obtain any amendments which may be issued.
