The criteria contained in this document will serve as the basis for the evaluation of instructional materials bid for adoption.

Tempe Union High School District serves students in grades nine through twelve in Tempe, Arizona. The District is comprised of six high schools with a student enrollment of approximately 12,000 students in parts of Tempe, Chandler, and Phoenix, Arizona. Six of the sites are comprehensive high schools and Tempe Union Online, being alternative high schools. The Tempe Union High School District is a highly-performing District and is known for excellence in teaching and learning.
