The City of Quincy, on behalf of the Department of Public Buildings, invites bidders to submit sealed bids for the SNUG HARBOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AIR HANDLING UNIT REPLACEMENTS PROJECT. The work of this contract includes but is not limited to the demolition and removal of existing branch circuitry from the existing Air Handling Units and provide new electrical in Fan Room, including providing new branch circuitry to power new ERV, fan coil, and condensate pump. The existing panel HCP shall remain, and new panel HCP-B shall be added as a sub-panel to support the new equipment. Scope includes Demolition of (2) existing air handler units; provide and install heating and cooling variable refrigerant flow system, including VRV coils and air source heat pumps and associated piping and appurtenances. General Bidders must be certified by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) for HVAC.
