BID FOR SNOW REMOVAL SERVICES

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Bedford will be receiving sealed bids up to 1:00 p.m. on the December 10 ^th , 2024 at the Office of the Town Clerk, 321 Bedford Road, Bedford Hills NY 10507, at which time and place bids will be opened and read for providing snow removal services.

Specifications and proposal forms may be downloaded from https://bedfordny.gov/Bids.aspx from November 22, 2024 to December 10, 2024. Vendors that download the specifications are required to provide their company name, email address, phone number, and mailing address by email to

Bids must be placed in an envelope and clearly marked:

BID FOR SNOW REMOVAL SERVICES

Sealed bids should be mailed and/or delivered to the Office of the Town Clerk, 321 Bedford Road, Bedford Hills NY 10507.

Bid will be effective December 10, 2024 through December 9, 2025. The contract period may be extended with the written consent of both parties for up to four more consecutive one year periods (i.e. up to December 9, 2029), with a seasonal price increase based on the change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI).  If the contract is extended, in each succeeding year beginning December 9, 2025, contractor shall receive an adjustment to the sums listed above equal to the CPI as published by the United States Department of Labor for the Northeastern Section of United States.  The increase will be based upon the September reported figures for each year.

The Town of Bedford reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept any bid or bids, which they deem most favorable to the interest of the Town. The Town also reserves the right to utilize multiple contractors, where the entire needs of the Town cannot be met by one contractor. Contractors providing the most advantageous price to the Town shall be utilized first.  The Town of Bedford reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time.
