Snow Removal Equipment

Sealed proposals for the acquisition of Snow Removal Equipment – Loader & Plow Contract will be received at the Town Clerk’s Office at the Town of North Elba, 2693 Main Street, Lake Placid, NY 12946 until 3:00pm, local time, May 8th, 2025 and there, at said office, at said time, opened and read aloud.

The Contract Documents (consisting of the Advertisement, the Proposal, the Contract Form, and the Specifications) may be obtained only from a OneDrive site and can be obtained by contacting “Jeffrey Conese” of C&S Engineers, Inc. at jconese@cscos.com where the Contractor’s name, contact name, address, phone number, and email address will be recorded on the plan holders list. Proposals that were not recorded on the plan holders list shall be considered non-responsive.

After award of the contract, the successful bidder shall be prepared to hold their bid price(s) for an anticipated Purchase Order release date as late as November of 2025. The execution of the Contract is dependent upon the receipt of an FAA grant offer and is expected no earlier than September 2025. This Contract does not allow for price escalation. The Vendor shall take this into consideration when preparing their proposal. If applicable, this project requires the Contractor to pay New York State or Federal prevailing wages, whichever is higher.

Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the total maximum proposal price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal.

Any request concerning this project must be emailed to Jeffrey Conese, at C&S Engineers, Inc., jconese@cscos.com, and must be received at the above email at least seven (7) days prior to opening of bids. Any supplemental changes will be in the form of written addenda, will be sent and or posted prior to bid opening. All addenda so issued shall become Part of the Contract and acknowledged by Bidder.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the proposal, and to reject any and all proposals.
