Snow Plowing for the 2026-2027 School Year
Wynantskill Union Free School District is seeking proposals for the snowplowing season during
the 2026-2027 school year.
Snow plowing is needed when there are two or more inches of snowfall. Plowing is to include
the main parking lot area, front circle, side road, loading dock, and rear parking area or all paved
areas of the District. Snow stakes will be installed around the described areas to be plowed and
removed in early spring. Snow must be pushed back as far as possible and cleaned up as
necessary to prevent snowpack accumulation in parking areas as per directions of the Buildings
& Grounds Supervisor. Emergency access to the building must be maintained at all times. After
the snow season, if necessary repair damaged curbing, and rake and/ or spot seed plow damaged
areas.
Proper insurance naming the school district as an insured is required and must be furnished with
the bid. The insurance coverage must also be submitted. A non-collusive bidding statement must
accompany the bid.

By Thursday, April 16, 2026, @ 12 pm, which will then be opened and recorded by the District Clerk for
consideration at the April 21, 2026 Board of Education Meeting.
