NOTICE is hereby given that proposals will be received by the Administrator of the Township of Wantage, Sussex County, New Jersey, at the Wantage Township Municipal Building, 888 Route 23, Wantage, New Jersey 07461, on December 5, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time. Proposals will be opened and publicly read at this time. Proposals are sought for the following item:

Snow Plow Operator

Contract for snow plowing, sanding, and salting on various roads within Wantage Township, Sussex County, from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025

Specifications and forms may be obtained by any interested party at the Wantage Township Municipal Building, 888 Route 23, Wantage, New Jersey 07461, in the office of the Wantage Township Administrator, during normal business hours.

Proposals must be submitted in standard form and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope with the name and address of the contractor on the outside addressed to the Township Administrator, Township of Wantage, 888 Route 23, Wantage, New Jersey 07461. The Township will not be responsible for late mail deliveries and no proposals will be accepted after the time stipulated in the Notice to Quoter.

The Township Committee reserves the right to award a contract in its sole discretion and further reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive irregularities, and decide as to the responsibility of the contractors.

All proposals are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
