NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Wayne will receive sealed bids for Snow and Ice Control Services at three (3) Emergency Medical Services Substations located in the Towns of Rose, Sodus, and Walworth. An individual contract will be awarded for each location.  Bidders may bid on each location, but they are not obligated to do so.

Such Bids must be clearly identified and filed with the Clerk of the Wayne County Board of Supervisors, 26 Church Street, Lyons, New York 14489, on or before 2:00 p.m. prevailing time on Friday, October 17th, 2025.

The County of Wayne shall not be held responsible for the completeness or accuracy of any bid documents received by a vendor that were not directly issued to that vendor by the Purchasing Department.

Any vendor submitting a bid based on incomplete or inaccurate information resulting from documentation received from any third party, shall not have cause for relief from award or completion of a contract in accordance with the official documents on file with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.

The County does not offer or supply anyone the list of people that have obtained a copy of these bid specifications or cost estimates for the project prior to the opening of the bid.  NO EXCEPTIONS ARE MADE TO THIS POLICY.
