Snoqualmie Valley Streamside Planting Outreach Strategy Request for Proposals (RFP)

King Conservation District (KCD) seeks proposals from qualified marketing and communications consultants to assist with the creation and launch of an outreach strategy aimed at increasing the number of landowners committing to voluntary new or expanded streamside plantings in the Snoqualmie Valley Agricultural Production District (SVAPD).

The strategy will be a replicable, consistent framework developed and tracked centrally by KCD but carried out by a variety of local restoration organizations. The consultant’s role will be to produce messaging and branding informed by past social marketing studies, plan campaign communication timelines, modes, and logistics, help to track effectiveness, and provide troubleshooting and adaptive management support.

Work for this contract is planned to begin in September 2026, with the goal to launch the first campaign iteration in Spring 2027 followed by a second in 2028.

• Candidate Interviews: Approx: July 6-July 13, 2026
• Consultants Notified: By Friday, July 17, 2026
• Contract Finalized/Start of Work: By Wednesday, August 26, 2026
