The purpose of this Request for Bid is to issue a purchase order with the responsive and responsible vendor that submits the lowest priced bid for the removal and installation of a new non-slip flooring for around the swimming pool walking areas.
The selected vendor will provide all materials, tools, labor, and equipment necessary to complete the project to specification.
Mandatory Walkthrough:
A mandatory walkthrough will be held to allow vendors to view the project site, take measurements, and ask questions. A representative from each bidding company must be present for their bid to be considered.
Date & Time: Monday, August 10, 2026 at 1:00 PM
Location: Horne Activity Center Foyer
Address: 350 E Center St., Ephraim, UT 84627
Vendors will sign in and congregate in the foyer before the walkthrough begins.
Scope of Work:
Surface preparation (removing, grinding, cleaning, etc.)
Removal of all old tile debris etc. from College premises.
Installation of the new non-slip surface.
Final finish and cleanup
Provide and install the coving all the way around the pool area touching walls.
Must remove all diving boards, handrails, pole holes, starting blocks, and drain grates.
Re-install of the diving boards, handrails, pole holes, starting blocks, and drain grates.
Diving boards and handrails, must have new safety inspections and provide documentation
Will not need to fix the north wall base, coving should cover up these.
Specifications:
Floor Type: will finalize at walk-through with vendors and add as addendum.
Area Size: Approximately 3,259 sq ft Vendors will be responsible for their own measurements

Work Dates: As Soon As Possible - Must specify your work dates and completion date.
Bid Requirements:
Itemized quote including materials, tools, travel time, labor, any applicable fees, and any costs associated with this project.
Warranty details
Proof of insurance and applicable licenses with Snow College listed as additionally insured / certificate holder.
Signed Contract with Snow College
Timeline:
Start Date: As soon as possible
Completion Time: must specify your completion date
Please note: All labor and travel costs must be included in the total bid amount. No additional charges will be allowed after the bid is awarded.
Warranty: (Provide full warranty info on products and workmanship
At least a 1 Year Installation Warranty on all work performed.

Evaluation of Quotes: Each bid received shall be evaluated for responsiveness in as outlined in the Utah Procurement Code. Bids submitted must comply with the specification identified in this IFB.
Multiple or alternate quotes will not be accepted. If a vendor submits multiple or alternate quotes, Snow College will only accept the bidder's primary bid and will not accept any other bids constituting multiple or alternate bids.
Snow College Purchasing may solicit other quotes via email, phone, or other methods as permitted by the Utah Procurement Code or applicable Administrative Rules.
