Scope of Services
The purpose and intent of this term contract bid is to secure snack and beverage vending machine services for use throughout the district on an as needed basis. Commission rates bid by Contractors will remain fixed for the term of this contract. Each school or District site will have the option to select which vending company they will use at their site.
On February 24, 2026, the School Board approved Resolution No. 26-03 which immediately and temporarily authorized changes to three Board Policies (5830, 8500, and 8510) which would have affected this bid if not changed. This resolution allows the School Board ninety days to formally change these policies permanently. Through this resolution, previous policy language has been removed which stipulated that vending machine sales could only occur thirty minutes after the last lunch period through thirty minutes after the school day.
Please note: The School Board of Marion County, Florida is closed for Spring Break, March 16 - March 20, 2026
