(Intent to Sole Source) Supply purchase request of 160 kits of NDAA-compliant small unmanned aerial system (sUAS) components in support of the Purpose-Built Attritable System (PBAS) Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) program. Each “kit” consists of a set of drone critical hardware components required to build and operate a low-cost, expendable sUAS (short-range, First Person View drone), including critical flight electronics and ancillary parts. The kits include commercially available NDAA-compliant flight controllers, cameras, video transmitters, radios, and electronic speed controllers (“critical components”), as well as motors, propellers, frames, batteries, tools, and training aids (“non-critical” components). These items will enable the customer to assemble 160 complete PBAS drones to support the unit drone training program and operational requirements. This capability is needed on an urgent timeline to support training and fielding in September 2025.
