Slocum Electric Gliders Services

Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of refurbishment, parts and services for Slocum Electric Gliders and related instrumentation from Teledyne Instruments and their subsidiaries as a sole source because the contractor is the single provider of the goods and services. The Slocum Electric Glider was selected through competitive process at the beginning of the program in 2010. Teledyne is the sole manufacturer and they, and their subsidiaries, are the only provider for refurbishment, parts and services for the gliders and associated instrumentation. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website. Appeals must be submitted to Procurement, Contracts and Materials Management at pacs@oregonstate.edu by October 31, 2023 at 9:30 am, PST.
