SLAC SSRL SPEAR VESDA Replacement

SLAC is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Subcontractor to award a Design-Build subcontract to perform design and installation of a VESDA heads and related infrastructure in SPEAR B116 & B132 (1 each), SPEAR injector B140 (1 each), and acquisition of one spare.

Potential bidders will need to meet all the necessary criteria outlined in Factor 6 -Statement of Qualifications contained in Section L of the draft RFP. A partial listof the requirements include the following:

• A current and valid California contractor’s license appropriate to Offeror’s trade.


• Offeror shall have a local office in the San Francisco Bay Area established a minimum of three years.


• Offeror shall have experience working at Department of Energy (DOE) and/or Department of Defense (DOD) Facilities.
