SL-Parking/Roads-Site-Wide Pavement Improvements

This project encompasses pavement rehabilitation and the preservation of parking lots and roadways throughout campus. This project also encompasses a stormwater pipe and catch basin installation. Base Bids are accumulated to develop the Estimated Cost of Work. Alternates are not included in the Estimated Cost of Work but may be added at the University’s discretion, depending on work schedules and available funding.
Blue Fencing is not required on this project.
A 5% Bid Bond may be required for this Bid.
ALL SITE VISITS MUST BE REQUESTED DURING THE PRE-BID MEETING. THE DATE AND TIME WILL BE ASSIGNED.

Bidders should be prequalified in Penn States' system for paving. https://www.opp.psu.edu/planningdesignconstruction/contractor-pre-qualification .

Bidding Documents

Bids will be received electronically only through the e-Builder Bid Portal. Bids in any other format will not be accepted.

To access the Bid Documents, the potential bidder must have or create an Account in the e-Builder Bid Portal. The User Name for your Account is usually your email address. NOTE: Bidders no longer need to request Access to the Bid Documents and be added to e-Builder by PSU.

The Bid Package(s) are listed in the table below. Each Bid Package has a project-specific link. This link takes you to the e-Builder Bid Portal. From there, the potential bidder completes the prompts and can access bid documents and submit a bid.

Bid Document access is intended for use by the bidder, their company, and entities involved in formulating the bid response. Distribution of information or documents to plan rooms or websites for advertising this project is prohibited. Bid Document access will not generate a Bidders List. Subcontractors and Suppliers should contact the project’s A/E regarding this.
