Skate Park Recreation Site Development

The City is seeking issue a contract to a Proposer to finance, design, develop, construct, manage, operate and maintain a competition/recreational turn key skate park on an existing site which is approximately +/-1.32 acres in size, under a long-term agreement/contract with the City. It is the intention of the City to award a single agreement/contract to the highest ranked Proposer responding to this Request for Proposals (RFP).

The site of the designated project is located at the Pompano Beach Community Park along the north side of NE 8th Ave. and west of NE 18th Ave. The project is confined to the limits of the existing soccer fields and may be smaller (please reference Exhibit 1, which is an aerial map of the project area).

The City will receive sealed proposals until 2:00:00 p.m. (local), June 28, 2023 . Proposals must be submitted electronically through the eBid System on or before the due date and time. Any proposal received after the due date and time specified herein, will not be considered. Any uncertainty regarding the time a proposal is received will be resolved against the Proposer.

Proposer must be registered on the City’s eBid System in order to view the solicitation documents and respond to this solicitation. The solicitation documents can be downloaded for free from the eBid System as a pdf at: https://pompanobeachfl.ionwave.net . The City is not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of any documentation the Proposer receives from any source other than from the eBid System. Proposer is solely responsible for downloading all required documents. A list of Proposers will be read aloud in a public forum.
