The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works (SJCDPW) requests technical proposals from qualified consultants to undertake, perform, and complete the tasks set forth in Request for Proposals (RFP) – SJCDPW-RFP-26-05. The selected CONSULTANT will perform professional and technical engineering services for the proposed Frazier Road Bridge 29C-272 Replacement (PROJECT).

The selected CONSULTANT will be the highest-ranking CONSULTANT that has successfully negotiated the terms for award of a consultant services agreement. The selected CONSULTANT or team will be requested to enter into a consultant services agreement with San Joaquin County. The PROJECT is locally funded. All work shall comply with the County Policies, the Local Assistance Procedure Manual and the most recent guidelines for the Federal Highway Bridge Program.

The requested professional design engineering services shall include, but will not be limited to, the following: Project Management, Project Surveying, Mapping and Control, Evaluation of Bridge Type Selection/Roadway Alignment, Public Outreach Program, Geotechnical Analysis Report, CEAQ Approval, Hydraulic and Hydrology Analysis, Permitting Compliance, Utility Coordination and Relocation Plan, Right-of-Way Engineering, Plans, Specifications, and Engineer's Estimate (PS&E), and Bidding and Post Award Assistance services for the PROJECT.

The deadline for submitting technical proposals to SJCDPW will be no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026. All prospective consultants must register for solicitation No. SJCDPW-RFP-26-05 in order to be added to the Proposers’ List and, if necessary, receive a Notice of Release of Addendum.
